My Fall Travel Plans

This blog post is coming to you from my ocean view balcony at the Ritz-Carlton San Juan. I’m spending 5 nights on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico visiting the St. Regis Bahia Beach as well as the Ritz-Carlton. I have tons of feedback on Puerto Rico that I plan to share in a separate blog post. This trip marks the beginning of my very busy fall travel schedule!

My View from the Ritz-Carlton San Juan!

Tomorrow, I fly to Turks + Caicos where I will be joining several other Brownell Advisors for a weekend of fun at the Regent Palms Turks + Caicos. I will also be making some time to tour Amanyara while I’m there.

Then, my travels take me from the Caribbean to Africa! In October, I have TWO very exciting trips in the works. First, I will be heading to Kenya for a safari with Abercrombie & Kent. One of the highlights of this itinerary for me will be the two nights I get to stay at Giraffe Manor… I am beyond excited to meet the giraffes! I will also be visiting Fairmont The NorfolkFairmont Mount KenyaLewa Safari Camp, and Sanctuary Olonana. Then, only 18 days later, I will be returning to Africa! This time, I will be heading to South Africa for a visit to the Madikwe game reserve and Cape Town; I also hope to extend my trip in order to see Kruger National Park.

This brings us to November and I will be spending my Thanksgiving in New York City.  Usually, my husband and I stay at the Plaza Athenee for the Thanksgiving Weekend. We love the location on a quiet residential street with easy access to shopping and museums. But, this year I’ve decided to try a new hotel and we’ll  be staying at The Pierre.

That should wrap up my 2012 travel schedule and I am looking forward to sharing all of my experiences with you!
