Four Seasons Hotel New York is Officially Reopening
We’re excited to announce that the Four Seasons Hotel New York will reopen on November 15, 2024, after a long-anticipated renovation. Located on Billionaire’s Row between Madison and Park Avenue, this iconic hotel puts guests right in the heart of Manhattan, close to Central Park, Fifth Avenue, and many top museums and restaurants.
While the Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown continues to offer luxury stays in lower Manhattan, this reopening in Midtown adds another option for travelers looking to experience the elegance and history of one of New York’s most famous hotels.
Key highlights of the reopening include:
- Ty Bar: A favorite spot for sophisticated cocktails, Ty Bar is back to provide the perfect setting for a pre-dinner drink or a relaxing evening.
- The Garden Restaurant: The reimagined menu now features Italian-inspired dishes, focusing on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Extended-Stay Options: Beginning in 2025, extended-stay suites, including 1-3 bedroom units, will offer guests the luxury of calling Four Seasons home for longer visits.
New Enhancements, Same Iconic Experience
While the property wasn’t completely renovated, it did receive significant enhancements aimed at improving the overall guest experience. The stunning I.M. Pei architecture of the legendary hotel lobby has been preserved, while the suites and amenities have been given a fresh modern touch. Following the guest room renovation in 2017, the closure allowed the hotel to update key areas, including technology, mechanical systems, the fitness center, and the reimagined restaurant and bar. A newly updated spa will also debut in 2025. Despite these upgrades, it remains the iconic Four Seasons Hotel New York that so many guests fondly remember.
Luxurious Room Updates
As Ty Warner transforms some rooms into multi-bedroom residential units, the room configuration has been adjusted, resulting in fewer total rooms but an increase in junior and one-bedroom suites. These suites, located on floors 20-52, offer stunning views of Central Park and the city skyline. The hotel will reopen with 119 rooms and expand to 219 rooms by March 2025. Additionally, the property will introduce 75 long-term rentals ranging from studios to two-bedroom units, managed in partnership with Ty Warner Hotels and Resorts.
