Turks & Caicos offers some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And, with daily service from Miami and JFK and almost daily service from Atlanta and Charlotte, it is an easy destination to get to!
I was lucky enough to visit this Caribbean island back in September and one of the highlights of my trip was a tour of Amanyara, a gorgeous luxury resort next to Malcolm’s beach. It was everything I had expected from the top-notch Aman brand: calm yet stylish with an element of understated luxury in every detail. This property has an immediate WOW factor with stunning architecture and art. It makes a great first impression and I love the reflecting pool in the center of the main area. Overall, the hotel feels super quiet and serene; you immediately start whispering. It may not be for everyone, but the beach area is a lot more lively to give you some variety.
All of the accommodations at Aman are in private pavilions or villas ranging from studios to 5-bedrooms, and all are staffed with a butler (the larger villas are also fully staffed). They are all removed from the beach and they make up for that in creative facilities and amenities. Ocean pavilions have amazing views of the turquoise water and Pool pavilions have their own over-sized plunge pools, so there is something for everyone. The two bedroom suites with private pools are perfect for families. Bicycles and golf carts are the preferred mode of transportation around the quaint, winding lanes of the property. The chef and staff keep you well fed with an eclectic menu featuring dishes from around the world (the pad thai is a favorite!) and the spa keeps you continually relaxed with a wide array of treatment options (schedule a treatment at night under the stars!).
Amanyara is a member of Virtuoso and our clients enjoy exclusive benefits during their stay:
- Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability
- Continental breakfast daily, for up to two in room guests
- Complimentary a la carte lunch for 2 persons, once during stay (excluding alcohol, taxes and gratuities)
