Long before it became Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, this stretch of Gulf coastline was home to the beloved Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club, a Florida institution that welcomed generations of travelers beginning in the 1940s. Following a change in ownership, the property underwent a comprehensive multi-year redevelopment that preserved its iconic beachfront setting while completely reimagining the guest experience under the Four Seasons flag.

Rather than simply renovating an existing hotel, the project transformed nearly every aspect of the resort—from guestrooms and restaurants to public spaces and landscaping—while honoring the property’s longstanding place in Naples’ history. The result is a resort that feels entirely new while maintaining a connection to one of Florida’s most recognizable beachfront hotels.

Set along the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico and just five miles from Naples Airport, the resort unfolds across lush, landscaped grounds, offering guests a sense of privacy and space that’s increasingly rare. The vibe? Intimate, coastal, and effortlessly chic.

Guests can look forward to sweeping ocean views, an expansive outdoor pool, a 30,000 square-foot full-service spa and salon, top-tier tennis courts, watersports, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and even a cinema and Market Square for families. For golf lovers, the upcoming Tom Fazio–designed 18-hole golf course (scheduled to debut Fall 2026) will be a major draw, as will the revival of HB’s on the Gulf and Sunset Bar, two beloved institutions from the original property.

Need to host an event? The resort will offer over 32,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including a 4,590-square-foot grand ballroom, high-speed AV tech, and a spectacular Gulf backdrop.

The arrival of Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort, represents one of the most significant luxury hotel openings in Florida in recent years. Rather than building on undeveloped land, Four Seasons partnered to transform one of the state’s most iconic beachfront resorts, preserving an important piece of Naples’ history while introducing a completely new luxury experience.

For travelers, it also expands Four Seasons’ Florida portfolio with a true Gulf Coast destination, complementing Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club on Florida’s Atlantic coast.

Because we visited during opening week, we experienced the resort while it was still settling into its new chapter. Large luxury resorts rarely debut with every amenity operating on day one, so we wanted to share exactly what was open, what was still under construction, and what surprised us most during our stay.

Guests may see construction in the surrounding areas (private residences and the future golf course) while driving up, but there is no construction within the resort itself.

Like many luxury resort openings, Naples Beach Club is opening in carefully planned phases. While the guest experience already feels polished, a handful of amenities and venues are scheduled to debut over the coming months. Here’s what you can expect today.

The spa is already offering in-room treatments—massages and facials (50–100 minutes)—until the full spa opens.

We stayed in an Ocean-View Studio Suite King, where we were welcomed with a coastal-inspired amenity—lemon white chocolate pearls served in a seashell. Communication throughout the stay was seamless via the Four Seasons App, which functioned as our primary point of contact.

During our site visit, we also toured an Oceanfront 1BR Corner Suite, and the property confirmed 52 total connecting room options, including:

Another helpful tip: the entry-level Resort View rooms still offer ocean views from the balcony.

Building E Option: Half residences, half garden residences with full kitchens (available for extended stays).

Sanctuary Spa (opens mid-December 2025): A 30,000 sq ft two-level retreat blending advanced therapies and coastal rituals. Features 16 treatment rooms (including 3 couples’ suites), thermal circuit (aromatherapy steam rooms, Finnish saunas, vitality pools), high-performance facials, and recovery treatments.

Fitness Center: 24-hour access curated by trainer Harley Pasternak, with Cyber Suite as temporary space until full opening. Includes rooftop lap pool.
